More specifically there is involvement of the rectus femoris, vastus medialis, vastus intermedius and vastus lateralis musculature. Findings are seen to a lesser extent in the posterior thigh musculature. BONES: Normal signal intensity of the imaged portions of the femur. No bone marrow edema. OTHER: Neurovascular bundle structures are normal. ** IMPRESSION **: Diffusely heterogeneous appearance of the quadriceps musculature with mild increased edema and enhancement. Cellcept, taking daily, imuran taking daily. If failed the above, may try rituxan infusion, or cytoxan infusion. Methotrexate and cellcept, cytoxan are teratogenic and absolutely no pregnancy. rituxan also has warning on pregnancy. Cytoxan will also affect fertility.
